Cloud County Community College has invited area Family and Consumer Science High School Classes to a conference on November 14th. A highway patrol trooper and a local story teller will share stories with the High School Students as well as the children from the CCCC Children's Center. There will be breakout sessions for the High School Students explaining the upcoming competition in April 2008.   The 3 selected KS Reads to Preschoolers books will be used as a jumping off place for the ECE Cooperative Competition slated for April 16th, after which the students will return to campus to compete in contests which will include: Science Experiments for Preschoolers, Story Telling of the books presented and other safety books, Quiz Bowl, and presentation of Project Boards of activities that they have done in their communities.
