A one-book/one-state reading and discussion project for adult readers. Titles are selected for broad-based appeal to encourage spirited discussion among readers at libraries, booksellers and other partners statewide.

Kansas Reads to Preschoolers

A one-book/one-state intergenerational reading project to highlight the importance of reading to children. The goal is that every Kansas child from birth to age five is read to during Kansas Reads to Preschoolers week in November.

Letters About Literature

A reading and writing initiative for young readers in grades 4-12. Letters are written to authors, living or from the past, whose books have impacted the students' lives.
